Fun with animals for young and old
A day is never long enough on our family farm for children to enjoy all the fun and adventures we have to offer. Young guests will quickly make lots of new friends. On the one hand, your children are looking forward to making new friends, and on the other hand our animals - cows, calves, horses, chickens, cats, ducks, rabbits, ponies, sheep, goats and pigs - are keen to meet these young visitors.
Farmers Sonja and Sebastian love introducing their little four-legged and feathered friends to children. There is always something to see and do in the stables: the calves need some water, the kittens want milk... Cindy, our beloved border collie, loves being petted all day long. Who's going to do all this?
At Oberfahrerhof Farm, we actively encourage curiosity. For example: how are cheese and yoghurt made? What do cows eat? Children will learn a lot of interesting things while they're here, and have the chance to experience a real day on the farm.
Younger children can groom the horses and go on short rides. If parents already have some experience with riding, they are welcome to accompany their children and rent a horse for the trip. In addition, kids can always have lots of fun in the farm playground!

Hiking with children
Through majestic coniferous forests and over wide mountain pastures. The Salto is a particularly suitable hiking area for families with children. The landscape around here is gentle and so especially popular with families. There are no steep climbs to tackle, and the mountain hut restaurants near Oberfahrerhof Farm are easy to reach in about 1 hour. Many hiking trails are suitable for pushchairs. We'll be more than happy to offer you advice about hikes.
Winter with children at Oberfahrerhof Farm
Wheee! The snow-covered slopes around the farm are perfect for toboggan rides. You can also build snowmen or castles, or have an exciting snowball fight.
And if you want a very special experience, you can enjoy a winter sleigh ride! The horses trot through the snow, carrying you through the magical winter landscape.
The ski lifts are right nearby, and a ride down to the valley is also a special experience.
